In Between Lightnings
The light is fashioned from a neo-romantic notion. It's a massive box made of wooden planks containing 12 fluorescent light bulbs and stacks of cords and markers. In effect, the lamp functions as an inside out chandelier.
The idea was to produce a raw, stripped piece, capturing a youthful street feel characterized by experimentation, spontaneity, adventurous excitement and audacity. I prefer to consider this as a conceptual experiment rather than something firmly decided light.
